Rio Tinto Iron Ore and TSM

Our Iron Ore producing mine sites implemented the TSM assurance program ahead of schedule by completing and reporting self-assessments and external verification outcomes for the first time in 2024.

We identified key areas for improvement in Biodiversity Conservation & Management, Climate Change and Crisis Management and Communications Planning protocols. The best performing protocols were Equitable, Diverse and Inclusive Workplaces, Preventing Forced and Child Labour and Safety, Healthy and Respectable Workplaces Protocols.
